can anyone tell me which wire exactly i need to tap into so lights come on when the doors open? im trying to put some lights in that will come on when the doors are open kinda like the dome lights and such, just need it closet t the door as possible. thanks all!!

 

if u open the door there is a little plastic black mushroom piece right under door latch.. the wire for that is withen the door seal under the trim. use a light tester and poke the set of wires to find it,, thats what i have done

does anyone know how to wire something up so when you unlock the car, you can have a light that turns on w/o opening the doors, like how the dome lights turn on when you unlock your car. thanks again all!!

get some wire splicers sold at walmart for about 3bucks a pack.. and piggy back into the dome light inside the car....make sure its with the wiring that only lites up when u use the remote unlock or your car alarm..example my car alarm when set kills all lites inside the car,, when i unlock the lites withn the cab lite up.. i think thats what your aiming for...
