I'm looking for a double din receiver that allows you to upload images that can be used as a screensaver or as a slideshow... Any ideas? I know there are single dins that can do that, but what about double dins?

 

I am no expert but I think you might want to look for a car PC type setup.

 

There is a Jensen one that is touchscreen and has an SD card slot but I am not sure if you can do a picture slideshow.....

 

Pioneer AVICs can do it, but only the single-DINs:

But the double-DIN AVIC-Z1 that is coming out soon is going to be pretty sweet so I would be surprised if it doesn't have that feature.

 

The Z1 looks good. Like the fact it has bluetooth. But I don't like the way the navigation appears.. seems to be a little tacky in design.. I have a Kenwood 9-11 DVD in our van and the navigation design looks much better.. I've looked into eclipse double dins.. Like the fact it has a hard drive.. but price seems a little high.. I know one of my choices for sure would be Kenwood.. Also I've heard that Pioneer double dins wont let you play DVD's.. It needs a seperate player..
