Yeah I know that one is longer than the other, the longer one will be cut to match the shorter one. They are both the mini horn, the flange has been cut to size.
Now I need to get a 4 channel amp and a sound processor.
Also now I will have to dedicate my life to sound tuning these things....
In case you want to talk with someone who's already used those in a tC, check out this thread.
I intend to start on mine soon, but will either use my USD/Speakerworks horns, or a set I made several years ago. It's going to take quite a while, because it's going to be difficult getting 6.5" MBs in the kick panels after I get the HLCDs under dash.

Anyways, I test fitted the passenger side, I can stick it all the way to back, basically as far as you can go without hitting the firewall. The driver side will be a challenge since the pedals are in the way. I assume they all have to be equally in depth with each other. So my other thought was to flush fit it where the dash curves down and then flatten out at. If you can picture it with me here! So that the horns are flush with where it curves down at. Basically you can almost see the horn. But if I can do away with putting it deep like the passenger side you won't be able to see it at all.
The other thing I am worried about is imaging height. I've read mixed results with it. Some people end up using tweeters high up in the a-pillars and cross them high like 16k-20k.
We'll see after I piece all the other stuff together first.
Those are CD-1 Pro drivers mounted on CD-1e horns!
I got to listen to Pete's Scion when he took 1st at World Finals, and then again at CES. It's awesome!
I doubt you'll need additional tweeters. The horn's output will couple to the dash, and the smooth profile of the dash in the tC will cast a near ideal soundstage. The image placement and stability will be spot-on; typical of horns.
Just find a midbass that can keep up! The XS from Image Dynamics are excellent. The CX are junk.
Let me know if I can help!
