My gig?
Hello all.
i work at a dodge dealer here in AZ, we have this head unit called "my gig" basically it has nav, SAT radio, A Hard drive for pics, music u name it.
i was wondering for you hardcore electronic know it alls....
can you put that in another car... sayyy a TC?
ive asked my parts guys, they have no idea.
anyone?

well... its all depends.. ANYTHING is possible..
figuring that if its in a new Chrysler/dodge whatever... that its using some sort of a data-bus system for acc turn on and off and also a low level single channel output for the audio... it would make it awfully interesting to put into a different car... i am sure it could be done.. just not easily..
if you looking for something similar... why not go for the carpc route... lots of guys on here have built pretty cool setups and you can even add more things to it such as GPS sat radio, hell even wifi in your car...

get the harness' and go from there. Some of the stuff may not work since some of the components require x amount of current before x happens
