Default My interior upgrade

update in page 2!!!

I've added a few upgrades to my interior to compliment the carpc. For the bass system I went with elemental design. so far i'm pretty happy with it.
Subs:
1 eD 9Kv.2
2 eD eu700 ( i have yet to install one)

Amp:
Nine.4

For videos in the headrest i went with the kenwood lz6500w
I still need to find a cloth fabric for the headrest.

Fiberglass:
This is my first time fiberglassing and I think i did an ok job. For the trunk, I got my ideas from Harmonic_tC install. Here are some of the pics on the fiberglass process

After carpeting

Kickpanel sub:

Headrest monitors

comments welcomed.

I love the box. I am going to try something similar for a friend. But I think the kickpanel is way to big and in the way.

agreed, and why did you mount the amp in the middle of the floor? lol

Yeah the kick is a bit big but there is still a lot of leg room. havent had any complaints so far. I was gonna do the same on the drivers side but that means i would have to loose the foot rest, which i dont wanna do

I have no place to hide the amp. the compartment on the passenger's side is already being used for the carpc. Placing the amp on the center seemed the most logical place. do you have any suggestions

make a rack over the pc fans, leave about a 2 inch gap between the mounting plate and the fans and I would use plexi as my plate. maybe some plexi rods for the spacers
just an idea

I was wondering the same thing. Wouldn't you want it somewhere.... a little less in the way?

I feel sorry for you if get your sub gets a hole punched in it from a stray foot.

I've already seen some 6.5 inch grille cover. I'll be buying it soon. in the meantime, every one rides in the backseat

you can mount your amp in the cavity of the quartpanel, forward of the wheel well..unless you want to see it.

the kick panel..i agree it is nice and i am thinking of doing this. i hate it when people put their dirty shoes on my kick panel, and there's no speaker there now. looks like it extends pretty far, and from a function perspective you might want to at least throw a grill on top of it.

and like the other guy said..throw something on top of those fans.

also, get a black/grey plastic screw cap and cover the silver bolt on the kick panel and that will finish up the install.

Looks good, have you thought about mounting the amp to the back of one of the seats? Seems you put the sub on the side to conserve trunk space but negated the whole idea when you mounted the amp to the floor. Just a thought.

just make a flat fiberglass mount on the other side of the trunk. That way everything is simple and clean. Plus you have your trunk space

thanks a lot guys. I definitely got the idea from harmonic_tc sub. I was amazed by it.

the ideas on the amp placement are great. now its just matter of which one. I'm feeling a fiberglass enclosure on the passenger side more. Well i guess I have my next project lined up
