So I decided to wrap key interior parts of my tC in Suede. Im doing Red and Black. Here is a pic:

nice how hard was it? and yea lets see the finished project installed.

 

I'm autoxing next Sunday so Im going to leave all these parts out but Im working on the headliner right now. I think its pretty easy. This is my first time doing anything like this but so far so good. The headliner Im very worried about but Im reading guides and everything so hopefully it wont be too much of a pain... Should be completed by the 15th or so.

REAL suede? If so, where do I get that in roll-form?

I have a friend who would have an aneurysm if she saw that I decked out my interior in suede!

Or does it look real enough I might convince her it's real?? :D

I was given a 2500-3500 price range to do my tC all in suede........

 

generally you can go to a fabric store and get suede or other material in bolts. you can also find faux suede that looks like the real thing, but wears better and is more resistant to the elements.
suede is good for areas that don't get touched..but things like seats or armrrests that see a lot of activity will look horrible after wear..it loses the suede and gets that shiny look.
