Default my subs?

ok so on my way home from school today i notice my subs arnt as loud....they arnt hitting as hard still hitting but not even close to being as hard as they did before anyone got any ideas why this is happening?

Check the power wires. Sometimes a weak ground can kill your sound. Many people put all of their attention to the + terminal and put all sorts of capacitors and fat wires while the ground - is left with a strand of hair sized wire.

Check the gain and crossover adjustments too.

Check the power wires for the correct power handling. The wire may not handle the amounts of power you are trying to pull. Also, if your car is cold them most likely your amp is not running at its best. Most amps do have to warm up before they hit there best.

He's right. Strap the amp on your muffler and it'll warm up quickly.

hmmmm.... i kinda wondered why my stereo doesn't sound as good in the morning on the way to work when it's cold out. i know sometimes the rubber surrounds tend to harden up a little when it's cold as well, limiting movement.
