I figured...but there is always hoping and wishing!
...anyways...I probably should start this soon since I take forever to finish projects. I have to get in contact with my friend who has a spare foam piece to bang around with. Then I also have to buy all the supplies... ugh.

Yeah thats why I was waiting. Sure my dad has a heated/vented garage...but having to deal with the fumes and mess might be a little much without constant air flow.
I'm nervous just because I have never FBed before..at least I have a second foam piece in case I screw up.
EDIT: Is that your bunny? ..or just a random pic?

I wish someone would come up with box like this that would fit the tc trunk but for someone with the 4point strut bar. That bar is one of the best mods i did to my car...there is no way im taking it out but i love the way the box looks. I know for a fact that if this one guy is fitting two 10's down there there is enough room to put 1 - 10inch with a bit less air ....
first of all i must say WOW...very impressive...you did an excellent job
I think im going to try and do this myself
but i had a few questions
1. when you layed the fiberglass did you use full sheets or cut them down to small squares?
2. how did you seperate the mold from the fiberglass (did you let the resin dry all the way or take out the mold part way through)?
3. ive never used fiberglass and MDF in the same project so how did you set the MDF on top of the fiberglass and mold them together?
4. is there a specific amount of space between the two speakers or could they be spread apart more?
5. with the false floor on top of the amp like that does the amp not overheat or the false floor get dangerously hot?
6. do you get any major rattle from the false floor or other objects under the false floor or anything else?

Secondly - I was wondering about the rattle myself. I dont see how it doesnt because im sure that sub hits pretty darn hard. I could see it slamming right into the material. I saw a video of the 8inch sub pumping and it moved atleast 1/2inch over the subs rim.

2:Spray the mold with release agent(in this case I used WD40) before putting the first layer down. After it dries, just pull it off.
3: the foam "mold" actually has a built in lip in it, so all I had to do was seit it on top, and glass right over it.
4:No spesific space, just how they fit in there.
5:There is still about a 1/2" of space above it, and it bearly gets warm, but that has more to do with the amp thatn the space.
6:Nope, no new rattles at all, the floor fits very snug in there.

I have no rattles because I cut two holes for the subs to fire through

Great job.
Not to thread jack...
But go over here and check out what Mandos (Chris) is looking into. For those of us who are leary trying this project and are willing to pay for the pro build, this might be a good thing.
Here is to hoping!

Just for all the people who have been drooling over Golden86's awesome box, I managed to make one too.

I'm going to give the left side a try as well.
