Excellent job! Where did you learn how to make the power supply? And where did you find IDE cable in 13' lenghts?

i was talking about that quarterpanel cupholder/armrest. when i took that area apart the panel was packed with foam and the cupholder/armrest was there after u take the foam out

First off, props for a SICK install. That is definitely a unique mod, and if I had the time and patience I would take it up with my old Xbox that i rarely use.

And for those people who were asking about the 360, there's no way I would do that. The thing gets up to like 140 degrees, not to mention if you even bump the console accidentally it chews up your disc. My friend's box ruined madden 06 and pgr3 that way.

Again, mad props for that.

First off... your car is freaking amazing!

I know this is a bit off topic but I really like your leather seats. If you don't mind me asking how, much did something like that cost you?

Keep up the awesome work!

i googled. spent a bunch of time on xbox hacking forums. guys have been converting xbox internals to homebrew desktops for a while...some out of necessity. when the psu blows, they figure they could just reconfigure for use with a normal atx power supply. cheaper than an xbox authorized piece. so the next logical step was to take an automotive atx power supply and do the same thing. schematic and relevant urls are on my site.

you have to get the ide custom made from an electronics place or cable supply, or you can buy the ribbon, the molex crimper and make your own.

you know what, that's a very good point about the 360. i forgot about that. if you leave the disc in and move the console your disc is toast. most people who move the console from vertical to horizontal with a disc inserted find themselves with this problem. Microsoft finally posted something on their site about not doing that after they got tons of calls for support.
Good callout for anyone who wants to do this on a 360....never leave a disc inside the unit!

I have seen david's car in person and I have to say that I simply adore it! Every thing is perfect. From the stitching to the cut outs. Everything is stealth-themed. Good jib david and I hope to see more of you and you're car at the meets. Your website is hot! Keep up the good work.

I have been into the xbox mod forums for a while... it takes a lot more hunting to learn how to FTP your xbox with a mac! I am jealous of your set-up. Great job. I'll let you know if I ever figure out how to cram my box into my car!

awesome job on the site.
u already know how amized i am with the car

this is a thing of beauty. the pictures are in no way photoshopped.
it's even more beautiful in person. u truly appreciate the feeling of a unique job. to see the perfect fittings of the xbox controlers in the change dish and the power switch in that dead space - perfectly centered and with an OE look to it. all amps, hardrives, etc hidden behind rewar interior panels, 007 edition. The cool feeling under ur fingertips when you slide ur hand over the imola red BMW M series leather, it's amazing from front to back. one of the best as far as personally customized and it's in the early stages from what i believe.
didn't even mention the sirius

sorry dave, had to give it the pro style editorial
