Need audio reccomendations
Since you guys told me its possible to add new speakers and an amp while keeping the head unit stock, i would like to see if anyone can offer some suggestions as what to get.
For componets up front, i like either infinity reference or JL
Rears - i hear most just leave them alone, but i might as well drop in decent speakers that arent crazy - like 40-50 watt range
Amp - this is where i need some help. If possible, i would like to simply swap the amp that is under the passenger seat and replace it. Also, i was told i needed an amp with speaker level inputs since im keeping the head unit. I figure id need an amp that puts out 50 rms watts at 4 ohms since im not going high end, but which amps would be compact enough to fit under the seat and have the speaker inputs i need?

If you get an amp with differential balanced inputs, you can connect it straight to the OEM radio without LOC's.
Many line converters use very cheap transformers which are not suitable for great audio. There are examples of amplifiers with the balanced inputs here: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_a...php?page_id=10
The biggest problem with using the OEM deck is the terrible DSP thats there. I used the CL441dsp to take car of that: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_c...hp?prod_id=369

CDT EF-61CFi's w/ JL Audio 300/2!!!!
I was seriously sold on buying JL components, but till i heard nothing but awsome reviews about CDT, i went with them and been happy ever since! I never knew who they were? I thought it was another "no name" brand or something, but their serious about their music!!!
i would seriously leave the rears alone, leave the stockers in!
