I checked on your subs and the RMS power handling is ACTUALLY 1000 watts, 3000 watts is the PEAK power handling and you don't really want to power the woofers that unless you are ONLY competing and "burping" the subs.

Since it looks like you have the dual 4 ohm voice coil woofers i would recommend the MTX TA81001 amplifier which is stable at 1 ohm and will put out more than 1500 watts. The MTX series amps are underrated by about 20% so even though its rated at being 1500 at 1 ohm you should be able to expect about 1800 watts with proper voltage. Along with the fact that the amplifier has an adjustable input sensitivity it makes it great to add to a system. The red lights on the top of the amplifier are adjustable to just about any color so it conforms well into a custom installation.

Just to be clear, as you saying that each of them has two, 2-Ohm voice coils?

well at a 2 ohm load that amp still puts out a lot of power, one of my co-workers has one and its rated at 1000 watts at 2 ohms but on his birth sheet it tested out at 1500 watts. It's all about the voltage ;-).

That amplifier retails for $1000 BUT if you want more power you could go with the TA91002 TWO channel amplifier which at 2 ohms bridged is rated at 1500 watts. Since it is a 2 channel AB class amplifier it won't be as efficient as a D class mono block but because the TA series line all has fan cooling they still run pretty efficiently for a 2 channel amp and have a sick look to em.

He has a pair, so he'll have a choice of either 1 or 4 Ohms, not 2 Ohms. The only way he can do 2 Ohm is by using a seperate amp channel, or a mono amp for each sub.

Looks like he said he has two DUAL 2 ohm voice coils so his options would be 1/2 ohm, 2 ohms, or 8 ohm which would just be rediculous

Yes you could run one of those amps to each woofer at a 1 ohm load, BUT you have to keep in mind that at "full boogy" and crankin on the system those amps can pull up to 160 amps of current a piece and the factory electrical system for a tC isn't made for that. You would need to upgrade your alternator at the least, I'd recommend a Kinetik battery upgrade under the hood, two Kinetik batteries in the back, and two minimum 1 farad caps.

Look at the specs he posted, as they clearly state dual 4-Ohm voice coils.

Are they single or dual VC, what's the VC impedance, and how much do you want to spend?

Im just going off the information he provided and it looks like he said he has dual 2 ohms. I checked the site and I didnt see any dual 2 ohms on there and only saw dual 4 ohms myself so I'm not sure if what he stated was correct. I'm not trying to argue with you just to argue with you, just want to make sure he gets the best setup possible.

mikeemurda can you please clarify this information for us and verify the information. We realize that you have dual voice coils, but do you have dual 2 ohm voice coils or dual 4 ohm voice coils?

If you have dual 4 ohm voice coils then definetely get the TA81001 for both subs at a 1 ohm load and you'll be slamming. For the size batteries I recommend getting the 1800 series for under the hood which is what i have and it does great, and for the amp I would say one or two of the 800 series batteries which I am running as well and does help, all of these batteries are Kinetiks BTW. For the amp since it does have a CAP input on the amplifier I recommend running at least a 1 farad cap which can help for big bass drops.
