Default Need help replicating SSP:Feel with new Head unit

Ok so I got a new head unit, an Alpine IVA-W505, and I screwed around with the settings for a while but I cant seem to replicate the nice bass bumping I got with the stock head unit on SSP:Feel.

The settings:

Balance/Fader
Highpass filter: Setting range: OFF, 80Hz, 120Hz, 160Hz
Bass Level: -7 to +7
Bass Frequency: 60Hz, 80Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz
Bass Bandwidth: Wide1 to Wide4
Treble Level: -7 to +7
Treble frequency: 10kHZ, 12.5kHZ, 15kHZ, 17.5kHZ
Loudness: On or off

I have a feeling that part of it has to do with my ignorance concerning some of these settings, actually most of them lol. I pretty much have no idea as to the meaning of any of them other than bass level, treble level, balance/fader, and loudness.

Can anyone recommend a combination of these settings if I want hard hitting bass but CLEAR bass? Basically as close to SSP:Feel as possible.

Thanks in advance

Well I would start by putting the bass at +4 and treble around +5. Play with it until you feel it sounds right. The high pass filter will only allow certain frequencies to go through your speakers. Only use this is you have a sub, so leave it off for now. Bass frequency around 80Hz. Treble frequency 12.5 and loudness... well you can play with that. And leave everything else off.

I'm in the same situation as djfreeflow...

What would be the equalizer settings to replicate both SSP:Feel and SSP:Hear (I'd assume it'd be the equalizer)

Thanks!

oh snap I forgot to follow up on this! the problem actually turned out to be the fact that the guys who installed my new headunit had no idea that the tc has a stock sub. so the sub wasnt even hooked up! lol. I went back they hooked it up but they had to modify some of the wiring. So everything's back to normal I got my mirrors to shake again lol.

Make sure you hook up the sub! chaoszero what kind of headunit do you have?

I was gonna say that your headunit should bump pretty easily, I have the 205 and just keep the sub at +3...I forget what my bass and treble settings are and I keep loudness off.

BTW does your headunit have pulsetouch, when you touch the screen it moves like a button?

yeah idk if thats what they call that feature on the 505 but yeah it does that, not crazy great response though like an ipod jog wheel has, but its decent.

and wow only +3??? hmm maybe i should look into my settings cuz mine is at +11 and id say its barely equivalent to having the stock headunit at 20 volume and on ssp feel.
