After have a system in my last car and going back to stock, I cant take it. Im looking around and this is what Ive come up with so far.

Front: Infinity Kappa 60.7cs
Rear: Infinity Kappa 62.7i
Sub: Infinity Perfect 10.1 in Harmonic_tC Sub Box
Amp: Infinity Reference 5761a

I havent decided on a hu yet. I still have my old hu its a Sony MEX-5DI. Theres nothing wrong with it, but I want a whole new system and I'd really like to keep the steering wheel controls. Any suggestions or should I just keep the Sony? Also will the amp be enough to power the speakers and sub. I dont know much about car audio but looking at the numbers it looks like it would do the trick. I really like the way Infinity sounds and I like the way the sub looks too.

 

1st of all, dont do the rears, alot of peeps will agree too! You wont be able to hear them with the comps up front.

your rears and your sub is the same model number?

i dont know much about infinity but i guess it sounds good! I would also change the title of the thread to "Help with System"? just to get more looks.

 

I'm putting a Infinity Kappa 10.1 in my fiberglass box from Harmonic_tC.

I actually just put Polk 6.5" 2 way speakers all around my car last night. Much cleaner sounding than the stock speakers. A few more months and I'll get a headunit.

I understand that some Eclipse units will work with our stock steering wheel controls.

i have an Alpine HU. But i have an 05', i never really liked steering wheel controls, good thing my HU came with a remote! I already memorized my remote so i wont have to take my eyes off the road or mess with the steering wheel!
