what about behind the gauge cluster, i mean a quick pull and your behind the panel no one would search there...you could even tape it to the back of the panel and no one would ever know anything was there.

If the bottom of the back seat pops up, you can always hide it there.. but the cops will search that spot first..

hmm, this has turned into a crazy butt, slickest place to hide stuff thread.

i think guage cluster is too difficult to do quickly btw.

so here is another entry. where the carpet mates with the center console by the accelerator pedal it is held in place by a small dark grey peg. quickly pull the peg, slip the carpet out a little and hide your baggy of stuff. then replace the carpet and clip.

that sounds good....but ever seen cops on tv? they always say o look they just ducked they must be hinding something....

You gotta think the best place to hide stuff when also not moving too much in the car and at the same time a fast place.

i think he was trying to keep prying eyes from knowing, or the opportunistic theif...not cops but i could be wrong.

ok, here's another one. go to mcDonald's, get something like chicken nuggets or a big mac. crumple up the napkins and toss in the cupholder along with the empty soda cup. put your money in the cardboard big mac carton and close it, then leave it strewn with the bag either on the passenger seat or the floor.
it's in plain sight, but unknown. of course these defenses are useless against an addict jonesing for a burger.

i think this is the funniest forum i have EVER read...but if its really "money" our fllor mats come apart so if its bills you can just put it between the plastic part and carpet part... i seriously doubt anyone will take your floormats apart

THE BEST PLACE!

Underneath your seat on the back the fabric continues down underneath for about 6 inches. so if you where to drop a dime or a quarter in your seat it wont fall and hit the floorboard. Now to be safe, what you want to do is take some velcro and position it inbetween that flap of fabric and the seat (it creates a little pocket). and if someone tries to feel into the crack, the drop is to steep and far to reach.

yea thats a good place to hide things.... just get a little box and like hot glue it to that panel, and you got yourself a little "stash box".... not like i have one or anything....

Gotta love the new laws in Denver, used to live in Frisco, just west of Denver. Leave it to them to change the laws after I get in trouble .... and move back to Phoenix.
