I have a 7 inch liliput touch screen. it is just a screen and nothing else. I am trying to think of a way to make it be able to come out of the dash as if it was a motorized screen. it doesnt have to be motorized ill figure out how ot do that later ... im just now thinkingof how to just make it be able to be pulled out and upright and where would i be able to get the parts or even if anyone knew if there was a kit for this. ill post my ideas later since im in class right now and odnt have time to draw waht i am thinking of.

There is room behind the waterfall assembly where you could mount it and make it rise up from the top of the dash.

All you have to do is find a way to mount it and control a motor to raise it up.

Easy as pie.

 

I've seen some nice car computers that take the same screen and basically extend it out of the glove box.

I've also seen the screen mounted on the side of the waterfall, (basically parallel to the factory deck) on a swivel arm, so both the passenger and driver could use it if needed.

 

i was trying to have it hidden and not have to cut into or drill into anything if that was at all possible. i just want it to be like a flipout screen you would get from a dvd head unit that had a flipot screen
