Default Need lil help

i bought some led strips for under neath the dash board, very thin ones, now i read in a few places where i can tapped them into my cigarette lighter wires, now i took my stuff apart to get to the wires, and i noticed, that theres a white wire and a black wire.....im assuming the black is ground and white is power...and is there any particular spot i should tapped into,or it doesnt matter....

so any advice on what wire is what and any particular spot to tapped into..

i have a 06 tc..if that matters...

i would cut ur cigarette lighter thing on those lights, go buy a switch and a fuse and wire it directly to ur battery so it'd look cleaner

or instead of running wire from under the dash to battery just tap into one of the empty fuses under there that has power and put a add a fuse or something like that its real easy search i know this has been asked many times
