Exclamation Need to put power wire through firewall, HELP!

So i am attempting to put a power wire through my firewall to power my amp but i do not have any free holes or gromets. Should i drill a hole(obviously ill be careful to not ruin anything), or does anyone here know of any tricks to running a 6 gauge wire somewhere to the battery?
Any and all help is appreciated!

I used a pick to carefully poke a hole in the rubber boot that all the wires go through. (it should be high up on the firewall behind the fuse box) Be careful not to poke a wire on the other side. then I tied a string on the pick and pulled it through. Use this string to pull the wire through.

If you may need to run another wire in the future, you can tie two strings, and just tie up the ends of one of them on each side of the rubber boot and leave there.

Another way of attacking this, depending how much amperage the wire will be carrying, is to use a piggy back fuse holder and adding to the fuse box inside the car. only problem, which I didn't care about, is the fuse box cover will not go back on. Whoopee!

Happy Poking !!!

i used a hangar wire to get it through, just guide it carefully and you can get it over there just fine.
