Default New Cabin Air Filter

I may be telling everyone something they already know, but i didn't see it anywhere on here, but i did notice a lot of people usually generic air filters they cut from home depot. Well Napa autoparts has the air filter made specifically for the scion tc on the shelf. Kinda weird that Napa has the part but Toyota doesn't.....strange

Toyota doesnt recommend running a filter in the tC, even though there is a tray for it. Apparently it restricts the airflow enough that the AC doesnt do as good of a job. I know some do run them (There is a toyota one from the dealer that fits) and say they have had no issue. But the websorber ones allow more airflow, so no worry about that part... and if you figure up how many you can get from one filter, they run you a couple of bucks a peice, as opposed to much more for an oem filter.

How much did you pay at Napa? I can get about 5-6 filters per $8 pad I buy at Target/Lowes.
