Can anyone "shed some light" on how to remove the off white color? Does it just peel off, or do you need to use something to take it off? And where do you get the film to do the 2 tone at? I know I'm just full of questions.

I personally think the stock faces are nice. Custom faces look ok depending on the design. However, the texture of the faces is what kills it for me.

When I did mine I just scrapped off the white film with a razor blade.

Thx. I had mine apart to change the bulbs, but I didn't notice the color until I had it all back together and back in the car. I just wanted to be sure before I tore it all apart again. Does anyone know where to get the cellophane to change the color of the tick marks? Is it just regular craft supply type cellophane? If it is, what type of adhesive should I use to keep it in place?

How did you do the tac. guage on your last picture with the no diffuser. The Red line on the tac is solid red?

you have to cut out the cellophane to make it go around the redlines.

The texture is to prevent glares...
You should take a look at the xB2 gauges, they also have the texture..
tC is one of the exception...
Most gauge face isn't like the tC...
