...New question on old topic...mp3 players..
Well im in my car pretty much all day and i just got a new zune 80 gig and was just wondering how everyone or anyone had choose to place the mp3 player for most comfort...since there isnt many locations for placement...i need the cup holders free and the aux is running through and out of the opening on the ebrake and it reachs enoough so i can place in the player in cig/unknown box thingmajigga.
However, in order to change tracks i need to pickup the device and then press next which is getting annoying and on one occasion nearly caused an accident. So i was wondering about using a cradle located maybe on the silver side part of the dash near the cig lighter.
The output on the zune gives me L/R audio plus video on my indash system so i can see wat its playing...Is there a remote avaliable for the zUne that does not require the zune dock???

damn, idk, i got an iPod so i just leave the iPod in the center counsel since you can change the songs from the head unit and dont have to actually pick up the MP3 player.
I have a Zune 30GB. I place it in my cup holder. I always change it through the device and it does not bother me. If it bothers you so much then get an ipod so you can change it on the steering wheel.
I would get an ipod but they are awful IMO and i have a 05...no wheel controls or integration of short...and i have after market HU.... however i did find a dock for $49 that i could fit to glove box and use the remote which would fit nicely on the side and easily used to change tracks and what not... thanks for the replys
