you did the waterfall just like mine except I did my exterior color on the areas you did red.

Did you paint the black or do like I did on mine and just wet sand the silver till down to the stock black plastic and clear coat.

 

I sanded until the silver pieces were black. Then I taped off the 2 tone pieces and spray painted black, waited about 2 days for paint to stick the taped off the pieces I had spray painted then used the red. I skipped on the clear coating though I probably should have used it.

 

Red LED swap seriously in order.

 

I swapped front and rear LED's for reds, and also had red cathodes under driver and passenger dash until a friend of mine kicked it and shattered the tube =/ But overall cheap, easy, and sweet looking mod

 

No, I mean the HVAC/cluster LEDs.

 

Yeah use more clear coat as it will give a good depth to the pieces and help protect the finish.

 

I'll research on how to do the HVAC/CLuster. If I ever redo the waterfall pieces then I'll clear coat then. Thanks for the constructive criticism guys.

 

Looking good! I would also recommend a HVAC/CLuster led swap then it would look even better.

 

Yeah, I just looked into it so next time I have an extra $45ish dollars I'll be ordering the kits from LEDmod.com

 

Get the kit from Garage1217 here on Scion Life.....really cool guy and answers everyquestion when you have problems with an install.There are a few guys here that either rebuild the lights or sell the kits.
