Default noise

hey guys, i had my sound system for about 9 months and everything is awesome about it except for one thing, whenever i put the volume up, i hear this popping noise, its either coming from my subs or from the back speaker, the sound is so annoying, but it comes on on a few select songs, but still i hate it, what do i do to stop it? ive checked the speaker and subs wires out nothings wrong.

also my front right speaker makes a scratchy noise when i put it up loud, like my headunit can go up to 52, and whenever i touch about 35 u can hear that speaker, and sometimes that popping noise in the back.

my setup is

kenwood kac-8452 (for speakers)
alpine sps 171 a for the front speakers, and i forgot what the back speakers model is its an alpine tho.
2 jl audio 12w1v2d4 12 inch subs
alpine amp powering the subs,
pioneer DEH-P7750MP headunit

and thats it, plz help, and yes i searched, i am no noob and never will be cursed with the name

Try to isolate the prob by adjusting the Balance and fading on your head unit

Sounds like you need to turn the gain down on the amp/amps...

To properly set your gain:

Turn amp gain ALL the way down (counter clockwise)
Turn volume on your head unit about 80-90% up
SLOWLY start turning your gain up untill you hear the speakers sounding bad (distorting) then back the gain off a little bit.

Follow same for your sub but only turn the gain up to the point where it blends well with the mids/highs.....
