Default noob amp install help

hi everyone. I am planning to do an amp/sub install soon. I know absolutely nothing about wiring, but I've been given directions so I'll follow it to the word.
I have all of my wires, fuses, etc. However I believe I will need to strip and crimp the power wire for the fuse, and also to connect the remote to the HU blue wire. Can someone tell me the details about stripping and crimping wires? Would these two tools be necessary?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!!

you dont need the wire stripper. you can basically use a sharp knife and just cut around the insulation of the wire then pull it off. its the same idea, no need to get another tool to strip it.

the crimping tool will help alot

in crimping you strip the wires then put on into on each side (saying you are using a butte splice) then crimp one side, then the other, then finally the center one.

hope this helps
