obx shift knob install help
i was giving an obx shift **** for my automatic tC from a manual tC
it doesnt seem to screw in and there is no instructions that were given to me

i had the exact same problem. i went to the dealer and bought it. when i realized it didnt fit, i went back and he said it was "self threading" as in you make the thread when you screw it on...tried for an hour...went back and talked to the guy again. he said to get it installed, it would take 2 hours and cost more money than it cost to buy the ****.
in the end, the **** was all scratched and the spacers were all ground down. i just put it back in the box and returned it for a refund. sorry bro.
my advice, if you really want the **** (cuz it does look cool and all), have the dealership install it for you. i ended up gettin a trd **** with my quickshifter.

LOL! Please dont!
Manual tc shift ***** screw right into manual tc shafts...for it to fit an auto u need to screw on the adapter to ur automatic shaft.
