OFFICIAL DIY/HOW TO: push button w/ diagram
ok so about 10 people have asked me how to wire up an engine start push button to the tC well here it is...
oh almost forgot im not responsible if you damage your car so do at own risk
even though is practically inpossible to mess up =)
Thing Needed
ok so first off here is the wiring diagram for the relays
i dont have pics of the wiring process because i didn't feel like doing it all over =] sorry
but just make sure to double check it all before you install it
ok here is the finished product before install
ok so now take apart the centor console and remove the cig. lighter. find a place to hide your relays and wires. run the 3 wires that tap into the starter under your dash up to your steering wheel
looks real messy just make it neater lol
now where it says to tap onto the BLACK, BLUE, and GREEN wires. those wires are located under your steering wheel. you have to remove 2 screws on the sides of the steering wheel to access them.
once you found them unplug your battery before you tap into them
here is a pic of the wires already tapped into
then hide al the wires and put the peices back together with the switch through the cig ligher hole and viola your done
HAVE FUN =)
IF you need any help feel free to ask here or PM me.

The 3rd from last pic shows a bad connection bro.
The butt connector doesn't look pinched - the one with a blue and silver going to the red wire...tighten up the QA before selling kits!
Electrical wiring is serious stuff when it comes to your ignition.

hey i have a question, if i install the button, do i still need the key? or no? or can i just push the button and the car starts?
also, if i have a remote starter, would this interfere with it? and will i be able to use this button even those i have a remote starter?
oh and i have an automatic, would the diagram differ in anyway due to that? and would it still work fine?

is there any diy to make it work without the key? and also...ill try this to be my last question lol sorry for the annoyance....if it would be without the key, wouldnt it be easier for someone to break in and steel the car just by pressing on the button? or is there something that would actually stop them from doing so?
