how would this work with a remote starter, also if you press the button just once will it turn on the accessories without turning on the car?

On cars that have a push button start, you can press the button quickly and let go, and it will turn on the radio and other accessories without starting the engine. If you press and hold the button it will then start the engine. I was wondering if it was similar to that.

What is with all the relays? My friend and I just put a button in his civic. We spliced into the necessary wires and put it straight to the exact same button in the pics and it works like a charm. If needed, the key still works and it is still required to turn on the car.... I guess my question is, why do you need relays?

Is there any way to make it so turning the key will not start the car? Like could I cut the ignition down low and make a switch wired to the buttong so I need the key in the ignition, the switch hit and the button pressed to start the car. Kind of a f you try and hotwire it now button... I'm tired of getting my car stolen

there is a chip in the key so they would need to key in order for the car to even run. How is your car getting stolen? The only way would be to put it on a flatbed.

Dunno but it has happened twice now. Recovered both times like a few hours later

wow, if i were you i would get an alarm with a tilt sensor. This way if you car is jacked up the alarm would go off. And if you have a two way alarm, your remote would notify you of any disturbance of your vehicle.
