Correct. I made it darker intentionally. I like darker, understated colors. Matches the all-black interior while still adding a bit of contrast

 

i guess it's also somewhat notable that I did it all with Duplicolor paint I bought at pep boys

 

you did one hell of a job masking off.

 

I just took my time. Actually, masking our dashes is pretty easy. With the HVAC panel, you can take out the HVAC pod, vents and radio cover. Then you can just zap down a few pieces of tape....


shifter console is even easier as the sides come completely off

 

yea taping is a breeze i just wish i had an exacto knife when i first did mine,i got some overspray that i just coverd up with some black primer... looks nice now. just needs to be touched up.

 

Yeah, they're overlays...but I like 'em. Plus they match the OBX shift ****.


Eventually, I'd like to get the full C/F version from Firmware and paint the outsides of teh 'waterfall.'

 

is it just reflections on the radio cover or is it crinkled?

 

Reflections. I had just waxed it a few hours before. I love how shiny it is.

It protects, cleans, has a durable long lasting shine, and isn't greasy like Armor All type products. Why not?

 

What I'd like to do to my interior is to add either a set of metal trim strips on the sides. I made a quick photoshop of what I mean.
How hard/expensive would it be to do this? Would it be better to use realistic looking plastics instead?
