Got a couple two tone paint jobs that I am in the process of painting. Also just figured out how to paint CF. Not actual CF pieces but painting an interior or a car to make it look EXACTLY like CF.

 

the water spotted one came out great......took me a long time to figure out how to do that in school,still cannot get it to flow though piece to piece.....yours came out great.

 

does anybody know how to wet sand , for the interior or for the wheels?

 

for my interior parts I used 400-600grit wet sand sand paper and get a bowl with water and add a little bit of dish soap and sand it and then rinse.Depending on what stage of sanding you are at will depend on what grit paper you will need.

 

ok, thanks bro i really appreciate it man, and then i can paint the waterfall console, and even the gauge pillar with the duplicolor auto paint or will it be better to use my air paint gun?

flea what equipment do you use?

 

Devilbiss spray gun with a 1.3 and 1.8 tip, Old School Flake, Limco, PPG, and RM paints. 3M green and fine line tape. The owner of both of them are really cool, they let me take my time on them. Talk about a stress free job.

 

hyeah you can't complain about that at all. How large of a compressor do you use?
