^yeah it may be bumps in the paint! that would explain the heat, it was a hot day with the windows up, i could see my interior getting over 100 degrees! so whats the cause, paint didnt bond to the plastic too well?
^ so should i sand the parts down to bare plastic and start from zero? what primer/adhesion promoter should i use? I want to get this right, i know you really recommend getting these parts proffesionally sprayed for best results, but from my pictures you can see a glossy mirror finish is definitely obtainable, i just dont want it to bubble/get messed up in the heat again!
FYI, high heat paints are a gimmick. All paints are designed to withstand 200 degrees. So why pay more for a paint that does the same as OEM paints? That's like buying OEM paint versus buying OEM paint that is "FLEA/Kennon" approved.
The primer i use is duplicolor and put atleast 2 coats inbetween sanding.
- sand plastic 220 grit
- prime ( 2 coats)
- sand plastic 320 grit
- prime (1 coat)
- wet sand 600 grit
- AND YOUR READY TO PAINT!!! suppose to seal it but
these are plastic parts doesnt really matter.

If he really wants it to come out good he knows that he has to clean it im talkin bout the painting process. Well the reason i do all of that is to make sure everything is even in surface and product sticking to each other.
