That looks horrible. The buttons look even more out of place now, the paint just looks like crap...it looks like you did quite the halfassed job on it.

ok, i wasnt trying to get the door in the pic but yes it is jacked up, I sanded a hair through the black by the S and had to repaint the whole door. It doesnt even say scion anymore =)
On the buttons, the button paint is crappy. I have alot of complaints myseft but i need a new set to do it. a couple of buttons are not smooth from testing different methods of removeing the factory paint. The next set will be flawless, I found a paint remover that wont jack up the plastic. sandpaper and files dont work too well.
The symbols are half asses b/c i have fat hands and couldnt find anyone skilled enough with scissors to make the ones i wanted. Use transformer symbols, Stargate symbols, Chinese symbols, use your imagination! a vynal shop should be able to print something at 3/8".You have to cut them out of tape, put them on, paint over it, then peel them back off to let the lite shine through. When i did the black, i forgot to hit one on the edges on one of the sets. also, the picture doesnt show it but i also didnt do enough coats and at night, you can see the black glowing a little. The arrows are not the same size, the snowflake isnt even, when the defog lights up, i went too far down on the button and part of the white doesnt lite up. I forgot to put two of the little light reflectors back in two of the buttons.

I knew some people wouldnt like it but i didnt think EVERYONE would hate it. I will post pics of the rest of the inside, it makes up for the buttons. but it is a first. I havent seen anyone else with enough ***** to try it.
I had seen tons of threads where people tried to do the led swap on an hvac and busted the clock and had to buy a whole new unit. Now i cant find anyone with a busted unit to get another set of buttons.

I just got tired of seeing grey buttons in EVERY SINGLE TC IN EVERY SHOW for 3 years now. I say not bad for a first attempt.

So you got tired of stock buttons cuz every tc has something that was there from stock. So you gonna get tired of the dash cuz every tc in every show has it? lol

99.9% of first attempts look like crap. you should have seen the radio door the first time i tried to fill in the scion in white. And as far as the dash, i have been trying to come up with something to do but am very limited due to the material its made from. cant paint it b/c it will crack like hell the first time someone pushes on it. cant fiberglass or carbonfiber it because of the passenger airbag. Fabric looks like ____. I am still working on it but YES I WILL CHANGE IT!

Negative? Nah. We're honest. You can make something look like total garbage and have people lie to your face about it at a show or have people kiss your ___ on CSTS/CarDomain/YSTC, or you can get honest opinions here. And the honest opinion is that it looks like crap. If it looks like crap in pictures, then it probably looks even worse in person because cameras won't pick up all the little mistakes. From what I can see, the paint looks like crap everywhere, the paint looks like its chipping/flaking ALREADY, the icons on the buttons are uneven, the symbols make no sense...it just looks like crap.

Trust us. In a few years when you get rid of your tC, you'll stumble across some pictures of it and wonder "wtf was I thinking, that looks horrible."
