u just missed min i just redid m ine in primer black

because it looks sick thats why.... and becuase im gettin the full CF replacement from Firmware Worx and i dont care about my stock one... but the primer black with a couple coats of clear looks sick. ill take a pic tomorrow maybe.

ahh you know wat i mean. it looks 1000x better tehn white.

 

thinking about painting my door panels... problem is the paint rubs off easily when someone kicks it when getting out.. any ideas?

 

like... the entire door panel? If it's anything besides black, it's going to be pretty overpowering inside the car. Don't forget to do the rear seat panels too (to match).

oh, and i wouldn't doubt the paint would chip if you hit it with your shoes enough.

 

Firmware Worx is coming out with CF door panels, or Fiberglass Door panels. the fiberglass panels would be easier to paint then the stock panels.... just fyi...

 

Do you have a estimate when and price?

 

I don't have much experience painting interior pieces, but I would think that with proper prepping and a good enamel finish, it should be pretty durable (except on the flexible stuff like the door arm rest).

 

scuff it with some 800...or even just a red scotch brite pad....that will do the trick.
