Im really not going for that at all.
Ive only brought up this one and i think one other one just bc theyd be nice ones to maybe bring back.
I know how annoying bringing back old ___ threads is. Ive been on numerous forums for years, i know what flies and what doesnt. Being the newbie on a forum is never fun but you gotta learn you place and ive seen how you guys are haha i wont be bad i promise

I installed a Celica seat in my '05 tC and while I like it a bit better than the stock seat, it is still too close to the throttle for me. But, working the clutch is a DREAM now! However, I got the dreaded airbag indicator on the dash and don't quite understand why or how to turn it off. I didn't think my seats had side airbags, but I have also read there is a seat position sensor for a two-stage airbag.
So I have a few questions: is the airbag light because of the seat airbags (I didn't think mine had them; does the steering wheel airbag still work (um, I'n not goint to TEST this!); I have heard of a 'resistor mod', has anyone done it?

Any assistance appreciated! TIA.

You can do the resistor mod (think its a 5 ohm or something like that) or simply pull the sensor off the bottom driver's side of the seat, zip tie it to the seat rail & call it a day!

Also since there hasn't been any pics lately!

Man, the UK has such nicer Corbeau seats. The American versions look like trash compared to the ones from across the pond.

Nice.

I was looking for more info on the resistor trick. My connector under the seat has four contacts. I don't think the car has seat bags, but I'm not sure. And I looked into pulling the sensor, but one seems to run up the back of the seat!
