Did you ground the line output coverter? If you did, don't do that, its not supposed to be grounded.

Also make sre your RCA's are not pinched somewhere, that could possibly set it into protect mode.

I don't see a remote wire going to the amp, you need that to have the amp turn on.

Also make sure that you have the RCA'a on the "input" and not the "output" on the amp.

But I would still not ground the line out, I have never had to do that with any car I have ever installed on. I have been installing at Best Buy for 3 years.

Another thing I see is that you have a 4 guage wire going in as your power, and an 8 guage wire for your gound, thats no good.

I have the remote wire, but i didn't include it on the picture. but i have to find another place to conncet it to b/c the place where i have it is a constant feed.

when i put in the remote wire, it does nothing. i go and put the ground on the converter and the amps protection goes off.. its so weard. i had this sistem on my eclipse spyter and had no problem with it. i mean everything that u saw (except for the conveter).

the green light should turn on when i connect the remote wire, but it doesn't.. but the protection red ight turns on when i connect the converter w/ ground.. hmmm i'm so lost..lol

Dont do it to a switch. Go to the fuse panel and look for ignition. (IGG) and tag it to that. It will be a lot easier for you in the long run...

The fuse box is inside the vehicle under the driver side steering colum. If you stick your head up there you will see it. It is a small rectangle with a cover over it. If you use a fuse tap you probably wont be able to put the cover back on but no big deal.

If you do want to use a switch to toggle the amp on or off, like I did, you need all three terminals on the switch connected. You need a 12+ power wire to one terminal, another wire that heads off to your remote wire, and a ground. Normally on a switch you dont need a ground, but b/c you have an LED you need to have the switch gounded. I installed a switch so I have use my subs when my wife is not in the car.

I WAS LIKE WOW!!! i'll post the picture of it up so anyone could go ahead and do it,,
