Default outside temp

alright i had to take my headunit apart and when i unhooked the plug for all the switches on the moddle console and then plugged it back in it says 81 degrees and its night and probably like 30 degrees , how do i fix this.

probably just needs to be reset. i was driving home in a snow storm, and my tc we telling me it was a pleasant 75 degrees when the station told me it was 30. sometimes it just tells you strange things. the actual sensor is in the bumper isn't it? maybe there is something warm near it?

the car needs to be moving a bit to show the temp accurately... it's normal like that.

just because of where the thermometer is located.. that's all.
