Default Paint RS Seats

I'm looking to get my seats (RS 4.0, so suede) painted to a different color. Well, not 100% confirmed on painting but getting them to a different color in one way or another. Either through seat covers or maybe even fabric paint. I'm just looking to change the color of the gray parts on the seats. What options do I have? Are fabric spray paints good enough? Should I just stick with getting a different color suede fabric and putting them over the areas I want? Thanks for the help in advance!

I would say get different suede would be the best and look the best but why would you want to do that to the beautiful seats? Alcantra is not cheap, but do whatever makes you happy.

Haha yeah. Well I'm not 100% confirmed on it, but I want to do a Black/Orange theme in my interior.

Well, I LIKE the Alcantara/ultrasuede. That's why I want to keep them. I've checked online and I'm probably going to be getting alcantara fabric and putting it onto the middle part of the seats. To get a cloth seat and then covering the whole thing in automotive grade Alcantara would probably cost me a fortune.

trade seats with someone then get the clazzio seat covers...those have suede in the middle and you can order almost any color you want.

Here's a pic of the Clazzio covers:

:S I keep getting these trading seats suggestions. I don't think you guys understand. I LIKE the Alcantara and the RS 4.0 seats are different from the Clazzios because the whole thing, though it's two-tone, is suede. Not just the middle section (with the sides being leather). I want to keep it that way, so I'm wondering if it's possible to PAINT the fabric. I know of fabric dyes and stuff but I don't know how well that will work on suede.

Moreover, if I were to keep it the way it is, I have another option of buying orange suede and getting an upholstery shop to stitch it ON TOP of the parts and then have the tC RS 4.0 letters in black painted on.

So I'm wondering what your opinions are about me PAINTING it or getting Automotice Alcnatara STITCHED ON TOP of it. Which is betteR?

I understand you like the seats, but if you paint them, the very fact of painting will most likely ruin what you like most about them!

Oh ok, so you're saying that if I get Alcantara and stitch it over the original parts, would be a better option?

That would be a better option, if its just the inserts. If you wanted to do more than that, you might as well modify stock seats to your exact likings.

Alright, thanks a lot. I'm probably going to go with just stitching on another piece of Alcantara on the inserts. If I went and got some other seats, I'd lose the Alcantara and if I were to cover the new seats in Alcantara, that'd be REALLY expensive, I was quote above $90 per yard.
