Default painted my dash (56K friendly) lol



yup i only got 1 pic it was sooo hot yesterday and i didnt have the dash in i was soo hot going home and for my lunch so i finished it up after i got home and put it on so today i got A/C lol i just regret not painting my dash b4 i got my CF dash kit but ohh well it looks hot! thats why i didnt paint my HVAC ****, should i paint it or just leave it OEM color

I do like the color. What would really set it off is if there was a way to do the HVAC buttons and hazard button as well. I guess with some pin stripe tape, a steady hand and lots of patience it could be done but would also be very easy to screw it up.

yea your right that would set it off right what about i just spray the whole thing i allready know what all the button are lol nahh but your right to paint all the silver black would look real good + i have a shacky hand i would never be able to paint that thanks for the props though

You would need tiny pieces of tape to cover. For my ****, I cut a tiny piece of tape the size of the square and taped over it, spray painted the whole **** and voila!..you can check it out in my profile.

ohhh its soo easy their are 2 screws one on each side of the sterring wheel its right by the cruise controll thiers a hole and its a special bit kinda like a phillips head kinda like a star i had the bit in my drill set you take both screws off the air bag will come off then pull the pieces off their are no clips just pull it off but be carefull thier is a wire connected on the left one for the radio then when u put it back on make shure u even out the space so screw it in equally so its not more of a gap on one side if u need pics i could take one with my phone real quick

thanks, but it wont mess up the air bag? i know might sound stoupid lol but if its going to risk the air bag deployment to paint them id rather leave them silver lol

well the air bag stay is in the middle part i just had my girl hold the air bag while i took out the 2 pieces just to be safe the wires to the air bag only give you about a 6 inch play so just have some one hekp u hold it and just remember just pull out the pieces straight out but remember to disconect the radio controll let me know how things went if u do them

ok yea i will i think im going to do it sometime next weekend after my surgery unless i have time before then

yeah they were going over all the stuff yesterday, so much stuff you can't do, couldn't rember it all. but they are going to give me a nice pink paper with a list of the 1000 things you can't do lol

pfft.. wisdom teeth.. a week? cmon.. i was out for 5 hours and at work the next day! and i had all 4 removed!.. tough it out man.. but good luck and ask for the gas..

and nice dash dude! is the scion emblem cut out on the cf or did you do that?

yeah but did you just get them pulled? because they have to go in and surgically remove all four of them. getting them pulled i would be ok the next day but mine are growing sideways instread of out of the gum.

oh damn dude.. yeah mine just got pulled and i think one had to be dug out (gum sliced and tooth taken out piece by piece) but sideways? yeah get the gas and the big pills.. not the small ones..
