Thanks for the Thanks.... got the info from a friend...
I ordered the hub adapter from Upgrade Motoring in California at 818-998-6005, plus the street (Lockable) quick release from www.tekniqauto.com in Canada at 780-434-1222 with this wheel...

Here's a pic of the release....

I caught that too.... It's a show mod.... time to switch in/out for shows... It's dissapointing really...
And it's not a federal crime... some states haven't adopted the FMVS and therefore don't require all the rules that the FMVS states... Oregon and Washington have though, and it's a class A-Misdemeanor.
100 bucks that my head won't even get within a foot of my stearing wheel, with my harnesses and roll bar. Not going to happen..... a whole lot of good that thing is going to do me anyways...
It's easy to switch, so I'm not worried.

Not when the feds give the state the option to adopt their laws or use their own. Its like the speed limit thing......they tried to regulate it at first but found it to be easier to let the state regulate it.....

Aside from the legal issues...
Here's the final info.
The sparco part # does work... you lose your airbag, cruise control, wheel lock, horn, and turn signal cancelling...
Looking into the horn issue, may have a few ideas... but definately a hard core modification... and not without some big sacrifices.
