passenger headlight keeps going out..... bad wires? 2006
before I go out to the garage and start disconnecting wires..... has anyone with an 05 or 06 had headlight issues. I have stock harnesses with silverstars, but the bulbs are still good. I usually will start the car, notice that the passenger low beam is off, go wiggle the harness/plug and it will come on and stay on until the next time I start up..... repeat.....
anyone else have this prob? thx

Kinda similar:
I had the same problem with the 164 corner bulb. Turned out there's a cheap crimped 'Y' connection that rusted out, hidden in the plastic sheath.
In your case I'd try bending in the metal a bit on the female socket using a pick tool or jeweler's screwdriver to ensure good contact.

Did you fry the wire harness plug? This can happen if the bulb you have has too many watts for the harness. This usually happens with bulbs like Nokya and other bulbs that simulate the HID look. Check for burnt contact posts inside the plug.
