I did a search but the link that contained the picture of the speed sensor located in the center console was no longer working. anyone have the pic?I know it says the orange wire 14th pin on the top row but I want to make sure because I connected my speed sensor wire from my Kenwood DV3100 Nav Unit and it didnt work.Or does anyone know another place i can connect the wire other than the ECM box. thanks

on a side note.It is necessary to connect the reverse detection wire and the speed sensor wire to obtain the full benefits of the Nav system and may cause problems in the future or are these wires just all safety precautions i.e. the parking brake wire, so u do not have access to all the options while the car is in motion.thanks again

as far as I know
same on the z1 as well.

 

The reason I say that is on mine's the kenwood dv3100 the pink wire is the reverse and the white wire is the speed sensor.ok I guess its different.
