Default pie toyoo3 aux/s vs pie toyoo3 aux

So I was going to get everything I need together to install the aux port into my stock 2005 scion tc for my ipod. But then I started reading about how some people were having trouble with having the 6 disc changer during the install, which I have. So I was wondering, since I have the changer does it mean that I have to buy the /s version of the PIE? Or will it still not work? I just wanted to make sure.

Also with the install, since the /S version uses the satellite ready port in the radio does that mean that the install will still be the same as shown in this thread here:

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=67318

Or is there gonna be some other 12 pin socket Ill have to plug into when Im installing it?

I've search for everything but I havent found any good straight answers. Thanks for all your help!

id say look at pioneer 7900 or the 9800 for single dins. its not too hard to do an install on your own imo.
