Default PIONEER:AVH-P4100DVD

Does anyone know if this Head Unit is compatible with our steering wheel controls? I don't mind buying a kit if its needed.

i have been told there is a kit that allows you to use your steering buttons but i never checked into it.

There is a slight delay using the PAC SWI-PS, but overall it works nicely.

the door closes all the way but when you try to open it, you have to hit the top to force it open. but all in all its a good deck. i havent gotten the control wheel piece yet.

Ya I have the same HU and have the same problem with the door. Doesn't really bother me though, and my steering wheel controller works.

I am thinking of getting this to replace the stock Pioneer unit in my 06 tC. Your photos look great...I really like how easily the unit sits in there, and it seems like it opens pretty easily. Have you had any issues with your avh4100? I've been researching many models, and this one seems to suit me best since I don't need Navi.
