alrighty guys this is not working at all when you hit maps on the navigation it comes up with 6 boxes only the 3 left boxes are working out of the 6. please tell me how to use this i read the directions still dont know how to use please inform me of my stupidity or something thank you and my avic-d3 does not keep its memory everytime it starts up i have to put in the time its annoying it like resets itself anytime i shut the vehicle off......cars a 07 scion tc hooked up everything write please let me know thanks

 

which boxes arnt coming up? just put a deiscription.
Are you trying to use them while driving?

you may have your wires crossed on the clock/memorty thing

What exactly r u trying to do? If your trying to change the view u need a destination before u can change the map view.

 

please post up some pictures so we can understand what you are talking about.

 

when you are in navi mode, if you hit map it brings up the MAP VIEW MENU. it changes the look of the map.

if you are in navi mode and hit the MENU button, that brings up your destination search, POI search, freeway search etc.

 

It depend on what you are doing. If you have no destination in, some buttons arent available.

If you are moving and dont have the bypass, ALOT of buttons arent available.

If you dont have the navi disc in and are listening to music, ALOT of buttons arent available.
Post up what you are trying to do, and the circumstances and I will help ya out man.

 

alrighty guys sorry no picutres yet but this is where im at i put in a destination tells you how to get there follow the green line whatever but if you touch maps when your in navigation mode theres 6 boxes the 3 that dont work areon the right side guide view, route view, rear view The 3 on the left side do work now i know i dont have a back up camera so thats goin to be hard to have the rear view working but all others buttons should work.... the bypass wire is the yellow and black wire and i kmnow i have that connected correctly cause i can watch movies while moving.... so my question is why isn't my guide view my route view and rear view aren't working as an option....

ohhhh one more thing my navigation does not tell me automatically when to turn or anything i have to press the box in the upper left corner to tell me to turn left turn right or what ever shouldnt it tell you automatically without having to touch the screen please its getting really frustrating guys

 

where is rancho cordova in CA? if you come down to san diego ill help you out myself...because i have no idea what problems your having.

 

just to let all you guys know the speed sensor wire has to be hooked up for those items to work
