Default Pioneer AVIC F700BT bypass..

Does anyone have this Head Unit, and know how to bypass the "safety switch" so you can watch DVD's while moving, or enter addresses into the GPS while moving.

Please be specific on which wire colors, and also I saw there is a mute wire, could I just tap that into the steering wheel controls to make a mute button?

OK, I don't know about the wires but I have the radio.

BUT just an FYI you cannot watch DVDs on the Pioneer AVIC F700BT.

Default Bypass Playback and Navigation while driving..

Don't waste your time with those scammer's. Just hook the Pale Green bypass wire to a Ground.
It can be the black wire on the harness or to a bolt/screw on a metal part of your ride.

That's it simple!

As someone else said:

unfortunately, the 700bt does not play DVDs. The bypass would allow you to use your GRS and iPod video while driving though. It is a useful bypass.

Sorry to bump an old thread...but

I am wondering the same thing.

And yes, the people at avic411 are not helpful

The moderator is the worst, replying with "maybe, do a search" and things like that.

Anyways, I moved the mute wire in between the 2 black wires and grounded it, and it's still giving me the error.

Going to try the pale green wire now.

Anyone else??
