So, I work at Best Buy and get a pretty decent discount on car stereo products and saw this head unit and fell in love and I also get a little over $100 off of it, so I figured maybe I'd go for it since it has Navi and what not. Will this be okay with stock speakers? How does it respond to adding amps and better speakers/subs?

 

The stock system should be fine with the Pioneer AVIC-U310BT. If you add amplifiers, speakers, and subwoofers it will sound way better depending on the set up you get.

 

Hey you're from CT. I'm from CT too. I'm actually really contemplating getting this HU. I'd love to see it after you get it.

How much would BestBuy charge for installation for this if I was to provide the harness and mounting kit?

There are two or three good threads about this unit on this forum right now you can read about for parts and stuff too.

 

Where in CT are you from? I work at the Trumbull Best Buy and I'm not too sure what they charge for install as I would probably go to my buddy and have him install it for cheaper.
