Heh... it's not that drilling holes is so hard, but if you slip (it looks like it's on kind of the point of the piece too) it will be pretty obvious. Also, if you make a hole, you gotta be darn sure that's where it's gonna fit - no room for wiggling things around later! Glad to hear someone else did it too though. Is the camera 100% inside the car when you mount it like that?

 

yup -- the cam is inside the hatch trim

WELL.. haha. hows that passenger reverse light? i got the idea after looking at the back of the new xBs having only one reverse light.. so modding the passenger reverse light to hold the camera and modding the other light to be super bright, id think itl look really really clean and it will obviously be protected since its inside the tail lamp. but then again its jsut an idea have fun! hahaa

 

oh yeah and you can paint the exterior of the camera white so itll kinda look like the other light too to have it kinda camoflauged in. and eat it alan.. i still think itd be cool. hahah
