also whats the point of drilling the divets if you don't use em?

They are designed so they line up with holes in the HU chassis. When you modify the position of the bracket, they no longer line up with any holes in the chassis and will create a gap between the bracket and the HU if you do not drill them out or flatten them.

Yes I elongated the front and back. You can just drill two new holes if you wanted but then your limited on adjustment.

No problem. I hope it helps out some installing the unit.

One thing I have found to be very annoying with this unit is the boot time. Im out of the garage and down the road before it even completes the boot up.
