there should be a yellow port and red and white rca inputs in the back of the unit then you can use it as an aux device. you'll have to control through the ipod though

I have the same problem with my HU. Not Pioneer, but same situation. The sound dealer I go to says any ipods made after 2007 have a new chipset and that is why it is not allowing video to come through. So, I found someone with an older ipod to try it out and I could play video from his.

yea... sometimes you need to check the actual iPod video settings.. I've made that mistake once before.

not sure on the compatibility on the newer iPod units though, much less the nano that you have... so *shrug*

Its an 80gb classic, one of the newer versions. Now, I just installed the Kenwood DDX712 and used the Kenwood KCA-iP300V ipod cable and it does play video from my ipod.

Hyperwhitetc - I ran into this same problem when i first got my D3... The problem (not positive on the new ipod videos) but you have to go into your ipod's video settings. There should be an option that says TV OUT and you have to select it to ON. Theres two other options as well as.. off and ask.. which off obviously is off, ask will ask you to have it on or off. If you having trouble feel free to PM me. But when you set it to tv out - on.. it should play on your d3, only sucky thing is you have to control most of it on the ipod. You only can move back and forward on the d3, you can't select songs. Hope that helps
