Default Please help???!!!

ok i have a rockrod fosgate 400.1 amp running to a singal 12 in alumapro bp series sub i've had it for about 4-5 months no problems so far but tonight went to go turn it on to show a friend how it sounds it worked for a good 30 seconds then changed the song and the amp lights up no fuses are blown reconnect all the wires to the amp and sub but sub is not gettting anything anymore anyone have any ideas on what to do to find out what it is??? thanks i reallly appreciate your help!

ok now after that point right there, did you disconnect it after the 30 seconds or did you take it all apart then try connecting it back together? Kinda got lost as to where you disconnected it at...

Well,it could be the sub coil or the amp. does it smell like anything?
