Possible LED look?

Is it possible to create the MPH numbers in white with blue on the outer lines and Km/h numbers in blue too?

Could this project be a DIY thing? Because I want to tried it myself, but not sure how I can achieve this affect.

well.. i do it alot, so at least for me it's a simple process..

swap leds to white.. and use blue filter of choice to make areas you want blue, blue.

so basically like this:

but add more blue.

so what blue material do you use for a filter? and doesn't the filter make it darker?

i use either a vinyl or a professional studio gel

both have their advantages and disadvantages.

darker? ehh.. not really.

What is this filter material? Where can I purchase it? How hard is the installation?

i just told you.... a vinyl or studio gel...

can buy wherever... vinyl shop.... studio supply..

and installing that is easy... but as far as the leds..
do you know how to solder?

Soldering LED, anyways, how much would you charge for this setup? The guages just like the pic above and the button on HVAC with just white LED and the center climate control dial stock.

soldering takes a little bit of practice, but there are resources on this site that can help you do that on your own, if you wish.

and if you need any help, there are plenty of people that can help here
