The reason the border around the screen does not look square is because it is velco and I have to adjust it (did not notice until after the pic was taken)




Kinda hard to see here but it is hooked up to a game cube.





Since most fiberglass boxes are painted, I decided to go a different route and go with carbon fiber vinal.

well here's my setup as of yesterday, isnt much but it hits hard. two eD 13kv2s in a Q-logic vented box w/ 2.5cu ft of air space. 1.25 cu ft per chamber, just right for these eD subs. since the Nine.2x amps are on 7 weeks back order -.- i went to wally world and picked up a Pioneer 760 watt amp. That will hold me over till those Nine.2xs are back in stock, and then that will really shake things up big time

 

This is my first post on scionlife! Just wanted to say hi real quick. But anyways lets get down to business. I plan on getting a tc sometime soon and have to have a system put in it. Since the Tc will be my first car, I won't have a lot of extra doe so I'm kinda on a budget. I need some suggestions to what brand and model ect. I should look at. My bro recommended JL, Memphis and Rockford as good options but I still wanna know what you guys think! If a few of you could please give me a list of what to get.... I need a head unit (with ipod capability) 2 12" subs and an amp. I don't need the best stuff on earth but I can't have $#!t either!

IMO Rockford Fosgate was good back in the day but I would not even really consider buying most of their equipement now. (at least if you are on a budget).

Myself, I am a diamond Audio guy. However JL or Alpine Type Rs would be nice.

i am going to be adjusting the positions of the amps tomorrow so it sits perfectly. and soon i will be installin some jl comps and coaxial speakers to go w/ the e4300 amp. also there will be a plexiglass cover for the amps comming soon as well.

Ive considered this same style. Looks easy to do and saves space, but loses the spare. Excelent work!!

 

actually i still have my spare. its just that the trunk floor is raised about an inch an a half over stock. ill take more pics once i take it all apart again tom. nothing is wired yet so thats what ill be doing tomorrow. also i am going to lay some dynamat here n there so things dont rattle too much.

 

hey whats up. i just happened to log back on. i stopped coming here on scionlife because there are a lot of hipocrits on here. but back to the subject my visors are from innovatek. they are from mp3playerstore.com but dont order from them. i ordered 3 sets and they sent all driver side and they told me to send it back and its been 3 months and still no visors and when i call all they say is the manager is not there but they will give him a note.

 

thanks for the info. it sux that you had a bad experience though. did both screens work or just the passengers side. I have seen some visor screens where only the one side is real and the other is an imatation.
